The Heat is on!!

Temperatue is the only one subject discussed these days. Its because the typical Indian summer is burning the land. It may be due to Global warming or somethingelse, the fact is the same, the Heat is on!!Its above 42 degrees celsius here in Aurangabad since last couple of days. The heat wave, sweating, burning sunlight, and everlasting loadshedding is a gift hamper we all have!!

Thinking about heat is also makes us sweating. So I found a interesting way to get cool these days. I am looking for the information about weather diversity in the world and I got interesting info. Its really cool.

wettest place

Since over 90 percent of Antarctica is covered by ice, it could be considered the wettest place on earth. But the ice isn't melted so Antarctica isn't that wet. Until recently it was thought that the volcanic peak Mt. Waialeale in Hawaii was the wettest but Cherrapunji, India is much wetter.The city of Cherrapunji is 1290 meters above sea level so all that rain must come down. When it does, the rain runs off the mountains into the valley below.

Antarctica is the coldest place on the earth. The only other places that come even close to being this chilly are a few areas in Russia. The coldest place on earth is also the loneliest. The coldest temperature ever recorded was -129 Fahrenheit (-89 Celsius). Antarctica has little moisture so it's also known as one of the driest places in the world.

The Dollar Yorker...that bowled out cricket!

It was big shopping day for the New Royals of Indian society. Shahrukh, Preity Zinta( inclusive of Ness Wadia), Vijay Mallya ( King of good times...lol), Mukesh Ambani and all the biggies were present with their overflowing wallats. They were not present for an auction of antiques/ abstract paintings, it was a deciding and turning moment for cricket. The first hammer was the last nail for the gentleman's game. Cricket is no more a gentleman's game now. Its a commodity, players are ingrediants of this new bright market. Who was sold is not a question who was not not sold is the key Q here. From Sachin to Tatenda Taibu every one was sold out. After all the stars sold out these Rich and famous picked up Ramesh Powar and Parthiv like players too. It was a dollar game played in that closed hall. Only money talked there. Cricket was sitting on the backside.
Cricket sold to Riches and Players are auctioned for their Rojiroti. Coming April will show this star studded cricket drama to each and every cricket lover. who will win?...No matters... who will loose?...no matters...Is this the Real cricket?....who cares....!
When I was going through the news of this bidding event, I got a fantastic idea to expand this cricket business more and to make it more lucrative. One day will come when all these teams will be listed to stock market and their IPO will be avialable. Rich and Famous buyers will find another way to earn money from this stock cricket market/ cricket stock market...The day will come when everyone will bet from his/ her cellphone on the match.....everyone will get money...but who will come to watch the real cricket at the stadias? Is there anyone ready to bid for the spectators in near future?

Tata's 'CAR'nama

India's population which was blamed for its backwardness till last few years is now honoured as its biggest asset and world's biggest market. 100 crore people! what a size of a market!! Any damn good company can earn in billions if they enter in India with a perfect strategy. Since last 5 years global Biggies sneaked in. Fron FMCG to luxury cars everything is avialable in India and these companies are earning more than expectations.
While 70% population lives in rural India, many of these Indian and MNCs changed their strategies to lure this rural market. India's middle class is the core strength of the market. Everyone is attracting them. Since last year from Rai bareli to Aurangabad, Delhi to Chennai everywhere Indian people are shopping.
Car is a dream of every Indian. In the late seventies Sanjay Gandhi tapped that Indian dream to roll on four wheels. He brought the real Indian car brand Maruti on the bumpy roads. Today Maruti is the king of the roads, and GM, Mercedes Benz, Fiat, M&M, Ford and many others are trying to grab their share on Indian roads. But still most of the India is moving on two wheelers. The Fear Factor

It was November 2006. The winter was in chilling mood. Everything was going calm, quite and THANDA. The last week of that November came with a feary heat. It was anarchy all over. The reason was Kanpur incident. Some evil forces designed the plot and a spiral wave of anger and violence swept across India. The raw face of voilence found in Maharastra those days. It was a classic example of how media play and exploit the common man's feelings. As soon as electronic media started beaming the images of Kanpur, the anger start mounting. It was a hammering impact of those images. The volcano of sentiments exploded with ablast that left Maharashtra paralysed for nearly a month. From Mumbai to Nagpur, everywhere people came on the streets and start protesting against that Kanput incident.
Aurangabad was also burnt in that voilence. Some part of the city was totally out of reach for the police force those days. People from these areas attacked police officials and jawans. After that police force came in to action and at first shot the stopped beaming news channels in the city. After that police started their operation and slowly got controll over the situation. But it cost heavily to the city. Industries got a massive jolt, schools were closed, markets were closed, everything was at standstill. Aurangabad city faced this for a complete week. In financial terms Aurangabad lost at least Rs. 100 crore's turnover in those days. The fear was so much that after a month also few pwople dared to go outside with family in the evening .

Its January 2008. Same fear looms over the city again. Rumours starts as the sun rises and fear increases multiple way. This time the ground zero is Mumbai. Death of a Budhdhist Priest caused the fury this time. The news of his death flashed on the channels in the afternoon yesterday. Police smelled what can happen after this in the city. They quickly banned news channels and started patrolling. This time the intensity was a low affair. Barring few incidents city is calm and quite. But rumours still ruling the city...
